REFUND POLICY

Thank you for your purchase. This Refund Policy explains how and when refunds are issued for services purchased from Coach David Swims (operated by Rootspark LLC). Coach David Swims provides one-on-one swim coaching services, including virtual video analysis sessions delivered through video review and live Google Meet. This policy applies to all virtual analysis tier purchases.

REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Refunds are issued on a tiered basis depending on the progress of your service. The tier that applies to your refund is determined by the most recent service milestone completed at the time of your refund request:
  • 100% refund — available if you request a refund before video review begins. Video review is considered to have begun once a coach has opened your submitted video for analysis.
  • 50% refund — available if you request a refund after the video analysis has been delivered to you but before any scheduled live coaching session has taken place. The analysis is considered delivered when the written feedback or recorded analysis is shared with you, regardless of whether you have viewed it.
  • No refund — refunds are not available after a live coaching session has occurred. This includes the live session that is part of the Full Technique Analysis tier and either of the live sessions that are part of the Progress Analysis – Two Sessions tier.

REFUND WINDOW

All refund requests must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of the original purchase date. Requests submitted after this window will not be eligible for a refund, regardless of service progress.

HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund, send an email to support@cdswims.com that includes the following information:
  • The order confirmation number from your Stripe receipt;
  • The email address used at checkout;
  • A brief reason for the refund request.
We will review your request and respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at checkout. Please allow up to ten (10) business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer or bank.

DISCOUNTED PURCHASES

Refunds for purchases made using a promotional discount or coupon code are calculated against the discounted price you actually paid, not the original list price. The tiered eligibility (100% / 50% / 0%) and the fourteen-day window apply identically to discounted purchases.

EXCEPTIONS AND GOOD-FAITH ADJUSTMENTS

If a technical failure on our end prevents you from receiving the service you purchased — for example, if a delivered video analysis is corrupted or unviewable, or if a scheduled live session cannot occur due to a coach-side issue — we will work with you to reschedule, redeliver, or issue a refund as appropriate, regardless of the standard tier. Contact support@cdswims.com as soon as you become aware of the issue.

NO REFUNDS ON IN-PERSON LESSONS

This Refund Policy applies to virtual analysis services purchased through this website. In-person swim lessons in the Houston, Texas area are billed separately by invoice after each session and are not subject to this policy. Cancellation, rescheduling, and weather-related policies for in-person lessons are addressed at the time of booking.

CHARGEBACKS

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact support@cdswims.com first so we can address your concerns directly. Initiating a chargeback through your card issuer without first attempting to resolve the matter with us may result in your account being suspended and your access to future services declined.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date at the top of the policy. Material changes will be communicated to existing customers by email at least seven (7) days before the change takes effect, except where the change is required by law, addresses a security issue, or expands customer rights. The version of the Refund Policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
